Ayn Rand

What frog when kissed really turns into a prince ?

My grandparents have been married over 50 years.
It's not magic, more an absence of stupidity, substituted with selflessness resulting in mutual respect and admiration.
But you've got to know yourself before you can put it aside for another. Too often people disguise their lack of identity by attaching to anothers.

We're told that love is medicine. A fix it tool we are all entitled to. Incomplete until surrounded, engulfed in it. This makes me laugh as I watch people fool themselves time and again.

Not that the intent is lost, but overuse taints the word turning love into a clutch taken advantage of by those with too much time, and now it's wasted. Bummer.

“Love is an expression and assertion of self-esteem, a response to one's own values in the person of another.” —Ayn Rand (1905-1982); writer, novelist
