I once heard the story of an aged couple who celebrated Thursdays. Whether by gesture or sometimes trinket, they acknowledged the day with rare style drawn from an impulse to celebrate their other. However, labeling a predetermined activity night for you and your lover "date night" is repulsive.
It is absolutely an issue of self respect, on both parts.
There are more endearing relational achievements then claiming pride in the ability to create an iCal event with such dry sentiment.
I promise this is more offensive then Sweetest Day.
